Pilbara TAFE students and staff as well as members of the public can search for journal articles and other current information using the databases listed below. These databases can be accessed from an Internet connection on your computer at home or from computers in the Library. Click on the hyperlink, then select the Shire of Roebourne from the drop down list, then log on with your patron ID (below the barcode on the back of your card) which starts with CL814k********.

Provides full text for nearly 1,100 business publications, dating back to 1985. This database is updated daily.
Cochrane Library
Collection of evidence-based medicine databases, including the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews..
Consumer Health Complete
Full text from more than 1,000 health related periodicals covering mainstream medicine as well as complementary, holistic, and integrated medicine.
Health and Wellness Resource Center (Gale)
Full-text authoritative information in the areas of health, medicine, fitness, and nutrition.
Novelist
This is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. For school media specialists and teachers there are Picture Book Extenders and articles on Teaching with Fiction.
