Access to Records
Students can view their personal records by making a request to a Client Services Officer. An appointment will be made within 3 working days of the request for you to see them.
Changing your Address
If you have changed your address and/or phone number please advise Client Services at your nearest campus as soon as possible, so that we can ensure all correspondence reaches you.
Disclosure of Information
Prior to the TAFE providing any information regarding a student, other than that which is entered into by contract or required by law, the student must approve the disclosure in writing. A Disclosure of Information form is available at Client Services.
Privacy Statement
Pilbara TAFE collects student information to complete the enrolment process
and to maintain and improve the quality of the Vocational Education and
Training Systems for students.
Enrolment details may be passed onto other Government agencies, or representatives
thereof, and remain confidential to those agencies. Students may also be contacted
to participate in surveys essential to monitoring the quality of service provision.
The Western Australian Public Sector Management Act (1994) and the State Records
Act (2000), which applies to this organisation, provide protection against
the misuse of student information.
