PLEASE NOTE: Community rehearsals may be rescheduled dependent on commercial productions. Alternative arrangements will be made with Hirers by the Theatre Manager.
PLEASE NOTE: The Walkington Theatre normal working hours are Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm. If rehearsals are required outside of these times an opening/closing fee will be incurred.

Toilet facilities are available in the Theatre Foyer and Administration Blocks
FOYER RENTAL
BASIC CHARGE

EXHIBITION AND SALES OF GOODS – Exhibitors are responsible for insurance and security of all goods and equipment located at the Theatre.
TICKETING

WAGES AND STAFFING REQUIREMENTS
The Walkington Theatre is staffed by three full time positions, 2 FOH and 1 technician. Casual staff are employed as required. Ushering and bar work is staffed by volunteers who are members of Friends of The Theatre.
Where deemed necessary, extra professional staff will be rostered and charged back to the hirer at the discretion of the Theatre Manager. Wages will be charged out for all times attended or worked on behalf of the hirer, whether by full time or casual Walkington Theatre staff.

FREIGHT COSTS
Any freight costs incurred by or on behalf of the hirer will be charged out to the hirer.
ENTERTAINMENT COSTS/RIDERS
Entertainment costs, including meals and drinks etc, requested by or on behalf of the Hirer, will be charged back to the hirer.
